PROGRAM SUMMARY: This presentation shares various initiatives that our school division has undertaken to create safer and more welcoming spaces for gender and sexual diverse students and staff. In addition to providing an overview on these initiatives, the presentation will discuss the history of the relationships we have formed with the LGBTQ+ community and the non-profit sector, how we have navigated challenges in rural environments, and the direction we see ourselves heading.
